Beija Flor was one of Calgary's biggest and brightest bands from 2003 until their final show in 2010. Comprised of a rotating door of friends, Beija Flor saw a lot of different lineups, and a lot of different amazing shows in their 7 years. From their early days as a hardcore/spooky/epic-rock group with members Steve van Kampen, Paul van Kampen, Jon Reddit and Matt Bayliff, to their later years as a indie/folk,rock outfit with Jon and Mat swapped out for Brett Gunther,Henry Hsieh, Hoyee Wong and Dan Wilson, Beija Flor left an indellible mark on the Calgary scene forever.

After the dust had settled on Beija Flors emotional last show in March of 2010, members of the group moved on to other projects and pursuits, including vK Records artists "SAvK' and "The Magnetic North".
